The High-Frequency Dynamic Measurement Challenge Testing elastomeric materials and automotive engine mounts requires simultaneous multiaxial measurements (Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My, Mz). Because these components are subjected to dynamic characterization and fatigue testing at frequencies ranging from 0.01 Hz up to a minimum of 80 Hz, the transducer's mechanical stiffness and phase-angle response are paramount.

Legacy systems frequently rely heavily on automated software control algorithms to compensate for native cross-coupling and phase errors caused by off-axis loading. However, utilizing software to constantly correct a mechanically compliant sensor introduces latency and mathematical uncertainty when calculating dynamic stiffness and damping properties.

SE-6DOF-ELA Architecture: Hardware-Native Isolation The SE-6DOF-ELA utilizes the same monolithic, zero-slippage internal architecture as our massive K&C suspension sensors, repackaged specifically to interface with the moveable crossheads of standard triaxial elastomer frames.

  • Native Geometric Compensation: We minimize cross-coupling errors through strict geometric hardware isolation rather than relying exclusively on control-loop software. This ensures that the static and dynamic forces transmitted through the specimen are measured with true phase accuracy.

  • High Structural Resonance: The transducer is machined for extreme stiffness, pushing the load frame resonance well outside of the 80 Hz operating frequency range. This guarantees uncorrupted load and displacement resolution during sequencing fatigue test steps.

  • Full 6-DOF Output: While the primary force capacity is ±25 kN on each axis , the sensor provides continuous, highly accurate Mx, My, and Mz outputs for comprehensive moment monitoring during multi-axis road load simulation.
